“Stand and deliver!” Find the spot of the notorious Wells Fargo stage robbery by the dastardly Ruggles brothers. Look for stone walls from the original construction of that route within the picturesque and rugged Middle Creek canyon. Ride into the town of Old Shasta (go west on 299 ¼ mile) and checkout the Shasta State Historic Park and museum, it’s a great place for a picnic.
